Parent meeting with a therapist
Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. You can book directly. If your paediatrician has written a referral or previous reports, bring them to the first visit.

What happens at the first visit?

You and your child meet the therapist in a playroom. We observe through play for about an hour, then talk with you alone for 30 minutes about what we saw and the next steps.

Can I sit in on my child's sessions?

Yes, for children under 7 we encourage it. For older children and teens we agree on a format together, and you always get a 10-minute summary afterwards.

Do you offer online therapy?

Speech therapy, counselling, learning support and parent coaching are all available online. Occupational and behaviour therapy work best in person.

Will you work with my child's school?

With your consent, we share strategies with teachers and offer one school visit as part of every 12-week programme.

What if we need to cancel?

Give us 24 hours' notice and we will reschedule at no charge. Late cancellations are charged at 50% of the session fee.

Not sure where to begin? Talk to a therapist first.

Tell us what you are noticing at home or school. We will suggest whether an assessment makes sense and which specialist to start with.
